Give Me a Ticket for an Aeroplane....

to Hawaii, Brazil, Fiji!   Anywhere warm - I'll take my chances!!  Brrrrrr - it is cold here in the Carolinas!   But it does get you in the mood for the holidays rapidly approaching.  Trees, wreaths, and stockings have been trimmed and hung with semi-care at at the Luther household.   We had a brief snow last weekend which put out three sons and even Louie, our oh so spoiled, lazy bulldog, into the festive winter spirit.  It all happened so fast that we didn't get a chance to photograph the "snowball fight" that went down between the oldest and the middle where they had two snowballs each constructed from a bucket of wet snow.  So I thought I would insert a Grandfather Mountain pic of them and the lovely undisturbed trees that were just out of their reach (on the side of a mountain.)

With the Holiday Kiln Opening (thanks to everyone who came out!) and the Celebration festival in the bag for the year, Chris is taking a well deserved break this week . In the showroom now,  there is a nice variety of vases. a few dozen trumpet and small bowls. some wood fired pieces, and mugs for those hot chocolates.  Below are our hours for the remainder of the year.  Online ordering through Etsy will also be available beginning December 12

  1. It is cold!
I would take a second on that ticket.
Let's hope this means a warm Jan.
I hope the kids get good stuff in their stockings!
    And the grown ups too!
